The Eagles

How we Fly

Living for Christ and walking by faith is at the core of all we do at Union.  Our goal for students is to extend what is often reserved for church on Sunday into their time in school Monday through Friday.  Sure we study history, math, science and civics – every subject you would find in any other school in Arkansas.  But the big difference is actually a huge difference:  Everything is taught and learned in light of Biblical values and principles.

Why we Soar

Your student is here to learn.  Our teachers are hand-selected to help them excel.  Our graduation rate is 100% with 90% going on to college.  That’s unheard of in public school and many of our students receive scholarships.  In addition to senior-level leadership and entrepreneurial development, Union also has an agreement with UAFS that permits students beginning in the 10th grade to take concurrent college classes at reduced prices to earn both high school and college credits. How’s that for getting ahead?

An Eagle's Eye

The best way to prepare our students for college and real life to train them to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus.  We do this practically by discussing our faith, relying on prayer and teaching our students to model after our Savior.  We also do this practically by setting aside school days that allow our students to serve others.  This outreach culminates in “U-Serve” week where we actually go on regional, national and international missions trips.  Whether it’s interacting with underprivileged kids in Texas or helping build a church in Ecuador, this is when eyes are opened and lives are changed.

When the Eagles Attack

Let’s be honest.  Our student-athletes don’t just want to participate in sports, they want to win.  And don’t let our school size fool you; Union has teams for football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, cross-country and track.  And because we don’t have 72 players on each team, your athlete gets to play rather than ride the bench.  Union also offers band, art, school government and academic clubs.  There’s something for everyone at Union.

Our Mission and Vision

Our mission is to provide an outstanding Christian education centered on a Biblical worldview that encourages all our students to reach their highest God-given potential.

Our vision is to be a nationally-recognized pace-setting leader in Christian education that honors the Lord Jesus Christ.

To accomplish our vision is providing a Christ-centered global, digital, and media intensive environment that encourages curiosity, discovery and independent learning. We believe this best prepares our students for 21st century Kingdom citizenship.
